OUR HISTORY
We've partnered with mental and behavioral health care providers for three decades,
delivering technology and services to help practices operate and grow
- We began our journey in the behavioral health space 30 years ago. Founded by psychologists, the mission was simple: how do we help behavioral health providers to document electronically rather than on paper?
- In 2017, TheraManager and DocuTrac merged to help further that mission. It enabled psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and other providers to expand their practices through efficient documentation, clinical outcomes reporting, and the ability to receive higher reimbursement. This enabled practices to invest in their growth and expand access to care.
- In August 2022 TheraManager grew significantly, with a focus on refreshing our understanding of the market and how we best serve the behavioral health community. We spent a significant amount of time with our clients and researching to ensure that our platform could grow and scale in a shifting technology and regulatory landscape. In late 2023 we decided to establish a new technology foundation to enhance and streamline our platform. We rebranded the company to ProsperityEHR in December 2024 to ensure that all communities we serve understand that we are a platform for them, and it also highlights our mission: to improve the experience of and access to behavioral health care delivery for all.

Melissa Tran
CEO
Melissa spent her career leveraging technology and aligning teams to drive growth. Throughout her career, Melissa partnered with executives at healthcare organizations to maximize their investment and drive improved product outcomes. Her variety of experiences, including running the outpatient implementation division at Epic, managing large-scale operations at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and starting several service lines at Tegria, lends itself to a holistic view of how to best scale healthcare platforms.
Ryan Fisch
CTO
Ryan brings over two decades of engineering expertise, particularly in web3, cloud computing, and blockchain technologies. He has a notable history in the tech industry, including founding and serving as VP of Engineering at END-Labs, a DeFi startup, and advising various tech startups. Ryan, an NYU graduate with a BSc in Psychology/Education, combines his technical acumen with a deep understanding of human-computer interaction and software design.
Jesse Vogel
Chief Revenue Officer
Jesse has spent 15 years working at the leading edge of the intersection of healthcare operations and technology, leading customer service and sales teams at multiple world-class software and technology consulting companies, including Epic. His passion for problem solving and the “art of the possible” have empowered his teams to exceed customer service and sales goals at every organization he’s been a part of. He believes that improving access to and the delivery of mental and behavioral health care is fundamental to unlocking the potential in all people.
Gillian Fortney
Chief Operating Officer
Gillian is a people enthusiast, spending the last 20 years working to make an impact in healthcare. She spent the first 15 years of her career at Epic working in many facets of Human Resources. She joined Exact Sciences, a medical diagnostic company, working to eradicate cancer through early detection. Most recently, she has turned her business and talent management acumen towards improving mental and behavioral healthcare.
Jenny Oakes
VP of Solutions
Jenny serves as our VP of Solutions (including managed services and implementation services). She’s worked in healthcare her entire career, starting at Epic then moving into roles in consulting, and health systems at various scales. In those roles she helped establish and execute on strategic direction at every organization she’s worked with. She has experience managing comprehensive portfolios across the entire revenue cycle and reporting/analytics.
Melissa Bernauer
VP of Customer Success
Melissa Bernauer is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences. With 9 years at Exact Sciences, she built the customer care program from the ground up, significantly enhancing support for colorectal cancer screening. Her extensive experience working with health systems, patients, and providers has equipped her with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape. Currently, she is bringing her dedication to customer experience into the mental and behavioral healthcare sector by designing and operationalizing service and support.
